Single: How Strange It Is – Head Holder

Here is a small quote from the submission:

“Head Holder is the first single from the upcoming full length album, In the Light of the Blistering Moon, from Portland, Oregon’s How Strange It Is. The album is set to be released July 14th as a co-release between Bud Tapes and Candlepin Records. This particular song blends full guitar centric arrangement harking to PNW favorites Built to Spill with saturated textural elements remeniscent of bands like Sparkelhorse.”

Music from both labels mentioned above has been already shared on this blog (for example this premiere) and I am glad I have another great band on hearlist (is that a good alternative to term watchlist?). You know I am a huge fan of great guitar riffs and this song has exactly that kind of riffs that talk to me personally. A little bit of that slacker-Alex-G-rock vibes are making is just great. I have been listening to it on repeat and will be excited to share the full album when it will be out. If I will not forget, because that is happening more often than I would like to admit. In the meantime, get the album on cassette or vinyl.
