Recently signed to Cherub Dream Records, San Francisco band, Pocket Full Of Crumbs, recently released ‘In My Home’; a take from their sophomore record, slated for release July 16th. If the single is anything to go by, In My Hand I Hold A Lucky Cricket promises to be an album jam-packed with comfortingly fuzzy lo-fi rock. There are the usual tropes of the genre: splashy drums; buried vocals; simple guitar lines; but they are executed so well, it is no wonder Cherub Dream Records wanted to snatch them up.
If you are at all a fan of the slacker rock of Horse Jumper of Love, and the lo-fi textures of artists like Fox Academy, ‘In My Home’ and Pocket Full Of Crumbs upcoming LP, will surely have you mesmerised by each dusty chord.
