We have covered the previous single by our great writer M.A Welsh:
The band has shared with us this press quote:
“Can I Leave Me Too” explores the struggle of recognizing that you haven’t been a great partner without fully owning up to it. Set against the backdrop of what should be a warm, celebratory occasion—a birthday—the song highlights feelings of isolation and shame. The instrumentation features moody, dark undertones, complemented by a laid-back vocal delivery. This is contrasted with energetic percussion, creating a tension that mirrors the lyrics and captures the sense of being on the brink of change.“
I’ve been absolutely captivated by Holding Hour’s music, especially their latest singles. Their unique fusion of shoegaze, indie rock, and subtle alt rock undertones creates a sound that’s truly mesmerizing. The fuzzy guitars and mesmerizing riffs add incredible depth to their music, making it an absolute pleasure to listen to. I find myself getting completely lost in the melodies and have been continuously drawn back to their music. It’s a powerful and enchanting experience that transports me to another world when I close my eyes and let the music wash over me. This feeling is what makes writing about their music on my blog so incredibly special.
I don’t really like what I do to you
Can I leave me too?
