hesitant is a gazey, grungey band, hailing from the Brooklyn, New York scene. The lead guitar’s trebly echoes send shivers down spines, leaping out from heavy drumming and rhythm elements providing the base the genre is so well known for.
“some light” is a song about the search for hope in dark places, and the sound couldn’t match more. Releasing October 6th, the song sets you off into space with a bright, glimmering riff you can’t get out of your head. The heavy bridges and exceptional drumming keep the ground underneath your feet. The balance ‘hesitant’ creates the feeling of a beautiful summer night, lost in the endless sea of life, but somehow knowing it’ll all work out. Harmonies through the chorus showcase the technical talent this group possesses despite the relative newness of their online presence.
