EP: Charlie Gearon – Once A Dog Leaves

This is a new EP from an indie folk artist from Bristol, UK, Here is a little message I received with the first single from this EP:

“A lo-fi folksy alternative track with a noisy, grungy climax. Similar to The Microphones/Phil Elverum and Neutral Milk Hotel with some influences from heavier slowcore artists such as Midwife and Planning for Burial.”

If you find yourself already interested, great for you, if not I will do my best to describe this beautiful atmospheric indie folk music that can bring you to a fairyland of Great Britain. The song features also drone and ambient parts which are also amazing and are creating another great atmosphere. I am loving this short EP that is somehow more emotional for me than I would have expected. It requires less than 10 minutes of your listening time and I bet we can always spare that amount of time to check out new music. Especially if it is as great a release as this little EP.
