As the holiday season approaches, there’s a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation in the air, especially when it comes to Christmas. For many people, Christmas songs are the highlight of this entire season. They bring with them the much-needed warmth and cheer, and can instantly put us in a festive mood. I am a huge fan of Christmas music and could listen to it all year round. This year, I’m particularly interested in indie Christmas songs and have been on the lookout for some great ones.
Recently, I stumbled upon two original Christmas songs that I think you’ll love. The first one is by Scoobert Doobert, who hails from San Diego, California. He’s a multi-talented musician, producer-engineer, burrito connoisseur, and a prolific songwriter. The second song is by apolumni, an indie artist based in Belgrade, Serbia with “dreamy vocals that feel like a hug of a friend who gets you.”
Both songs have a completely different energy, but I love them both equally. They’re some of the best Christmas songs I’ve had the pleasure of listening to this year. I’m excited to check out more great indie Christmas songs, especially the ones that will be featured on our upcoming Christmas compilation.
