Singles: frans asthma – light rail / one way route

Whenever I cover the music we release, it feels a bit strange, but I can’t help but express my admiration for frans asthma’s work. We recently collaborated on a new double single, and I’m thrilled to share it with our audience. Our label was proud to support its digital release, and as always, I have nothing but positive feedback for our artists. frans asthma’s newest tracks exemplify their growth and creativity, and I believe they’ll connect deeply with listeners.

We also wrote about the extras EP by our in-house writer, Callum.

This enchanting slowcore music, infused with elements of shoegaze, feels more accurately described as post-shoegaze or post-rock, which captures its essence even better. The latest singles from this Arizona-based musician are exploring a slightly different sonic landscape while retaining the magical quality we’ve come to expect from their previous works.

The new tracks boast a cleaner production style and a more pop-oriented sound, a transition that suits the songs beautifully. What sets frans asthma apart is their uniquely distinctive sound; it stands out from other music we often encounter, and I find myself truly captivated by it.

I’m thrilled that we had the opportunity to release their last album on cassette, and I can’t wait to continue supporting this incredible artist as they evolve. The new music from frans asthma holds a special place in my heart, and I wholeheartedly consider them one of the best discoveries featured on our blog in recent years. Their music is nothing short of magical—if you give it a listen, I’m confident you’ll fall in love too.
