Clippy, a dreamy indie pop artist from a small town in New York, has been introduced on our blog before, so if you have been reading our blog in the recent past, you would have seen his music pop up. Clippy is making sun-drenched indie pop that will instantly bring your summer mood on. The summer is in full swing here in Slovakia. Although it’s not a particularly hot one, it’s still full of sunshine. I have been looking at a beautiful blue skyline, and the song feels like that. Like a touch of warm summer sun or the beauty of cloudless blue sky.
These two songs were submitted to us a while ago, but I’ve just now gotten to them. Sunkissed was described with the following quote: “Hard times come to an end when the summer sun shines again.” On the other hand, Undone was described as follows: “A song about perception of others, love, and expectations. A feeling of summer’s embrace and a fear of losing your grip.”
Both of the songs radiate a beautiful, dreamy summer feeling, and Clippy has been making music that will get stuck in your head and make your day brighter. If you have been following our blog for some time, you may have noticed my endless love for dreamy summer music, and my desire for this music will never stop.
I’ve been trying to balance it with different flavors these weeks, but I will always have a soft spot for music like Clippy makes. I can now open a cold drink, lie on my sofa, and enjoy my lazy mood, taking a weekend off from everything, while enjoying some great music in my ears.
