Vilde is Melbourne-born and Edinburgh-based artist Thomas Savage. His latest single is the spooky ‘Subpar sentiment, cracking skin, a gene forgotten long ago’, taken from his upcoming album. The track places delightfully warm nylon string guitar at its core, arpeggios flutter below Savage’s delicate swoon which is propped up by mini synth riffs, atmospheric lead guitar flurries and a simplistic yet tight groove.
