There are not too many bands from UK I am sharing on my blog. Maybe I am not looking in the right direction, but when I do share, it is always a great band. Sorrell have just two singles out but both of them are awesome. This new one is just great. Here some words about it:
New release Freefall delivers a reassuring warmth of downcast but perpetually hopeful thoughts, resounding with waves of twinkling guitar melodies interwoven with the softness of reverb-laden, pining lyricism. An emotionally-poignant release, drifting in the comfortable space between Deerhunter and Real Estate, the song narrates a loss of control that primary songwriter and vocalist Dylan Lee describes as “trying to come to your senses when your days feel suffocating and in disarray”.
Freefall follows their debut single Lampshade released earlier this year, exploring feelings of anxiety reflective of our current turbulent times.
