I had never heard about Roko Mouth before this, and what an introduction ‘Peach fuzz’ was to the Mancunian alt-rockers. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a song, wrapped into one. Immediately, it’s a blast from the start with Finn Connolly’s swirling and soaring guitars hooking us in, making for an excellent pairing with Charlotte Redhead’s drums.
You can tell the passion and energy that went into creating this song, and all the time spent truly paid off for what graces your eardrums. The track is made to be performed live, spurring on mosh-pits and even getting the friend forced to go with you nodding along with the band already having sold out venues across the U.K.
Their distinctive sound and upbeat melody make ‘Peach Fuzz’ the perfect song for you if you have the post-summer blues, allowing you to remember the joys of the sun before winter butts its head in.
I’ll 100% be checking out more of the band and would highly recommend that you do the same for fear of missing out on any more of the fabulous quartet.
