Single: Milkweed – Yellow Plague

Another favorite label that always delivers great music is Devil Town Tapes. It is my favorite British label at this moment. We have a feature with them that is already scheduled for Monday, so do not forget to check it out. I am always excited about what next will DTT bring. This time it is a piece of British folk music from a London-based duo. Here is what DTT has to say about the new single and album, which will be out later in September:

“Yellow Plague is the first preview from Milkweed’s first full album, Myths and Legends of Wales. All words, art, and stories are taken from the book of the same name by Tony Roberts, which they found in a Hertfordshire charity shop. It is the first work in a shift towards making concept albums based on and fully sourced from a single piece of esoteric literature.”

I will try not to miss the new album and share it with you, but if you want to hop on the train early, get a cassette from them now. For me, DTT’s releases are always “insta” buys. You can also support the artist on their Bandcamp.
