‘I go anywhere the wind blows’
Lunar Isles is David Skimming, a Scottish multi-instrumentalist who produces delightfully airy bedroom pop from his home in South Korea. ‘Finish Line’ is his latest single, taken from an upcoming EP. The ways in which Skimming balances the elements of the track is masterful. It manages to be lush and full while maintaining classy minimalism; down-and-out vocals drift effortlessly above emotionally charged guitar parts that tug just a little on your heartstrings.
