Based in southern France, Hibou (aka songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Peter Michel) returns with his first new music in two years.
The lead single from his forthcoming album, A Sweet Thought, is a shimmering, motorik dream pop/post-punk blend that blossoms and blooms from a sparse intro to a full-on audible odyssey.
The vocal is light and airy, the bass is prominent and persistent, and the guitars range from chimey and bright to distorted and gritty.
The track is taken from the album It Seems To Me, which Spirit Goth Records released on 8 August.
