“5am” is the lead single off of the incredibly talented husband/wife indie folk duo, Ghost Prom (based in New York). Written by Cameron and Eden Crosby on a rainy morning inside of barn studio down the road from their Hudson Valley home, the song is about a journey through the complexities of addition: the internal battle, the struggle with self-doubt, and the eventual surrender to truth that leads to a path of healing. Released through Indiana-based Indie label Wally Opus Records, “5am” is an introduction into the newly refined, dense yet pumping sound that has taken nearly two years for the band to refine. Album out Nov.17.“
Ghost Prom is back with a new single after 2 years and I am excited to share it with you. As you can read above, they are releasing a new album soon, so this is a sneak peek into their kitchen. The meal is cooked, it smells good, but we cannot eat it yet. I am enjoying the energy coming from this slacker indie rock which has great guitar riffs and fuzzy energy. I am really looking forward to hearing the new album and hopefully, I will bring you it on this blog. In the meantime, listen to this stellar lead single and start following them.
