On the heels of the stunning release of Rapt’s haunting album Until the Light Takes Us comes a tour announcement that will bring joy to our UK and Irish friends. Supporting folk artist Luke De Sciscio, Rapt (Jacob Ware) is set to tour through the UK and Ireland in July of this year. The tour is scheduled through Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, Hay-on-Wye, London, and Swindon.
Lovers of elegant, poetic folk music will not want to miss these shows, as the emotional tour de force Rapt provides is sure to move even the most discerning listener. Lyrics such as “A theory of resistance / To keep living / What are we / When compared to mountains” and “Will you bear the fight and the roaring of tides” prove Jacob’s skill and sharp insight into emotion and struggle.
