If you know me well, you would know that I am a huge fan of Beach Fossils. I have been forever. Even this blog started partially because I wanted to share their music back in 2011 when I discovered them. From that point, the hazy dreamy surfy guitars always had a special place in my heart.
This EP from Lost Youth is bringing me back to my roots a little bit. I have still not gotten tired of the reverb and lo-fi guitars I am finding here heavily present. I am so happy that this EP has a special, distinct atmosphere I am enjoying even more. So many little nuances are making it so unique. Every song has it pretty distinctive and I am just loving that. Also, the last track works so nicely as an outro.
I will try to relisten to this EP over and over to fully soak in the atmosphere. I recommend you find a few minutes of your time and fully dive into this short EP. You will not regret it.
