New Melbourne band, HighSchool, have surfaced after a year of writing and recording. Now they’re about to drop three music videos that present their distinctive outlook on how post-punk, grit and youthful sophistication can coexist. Together they’re the architects behind this earwormy, low-fi sound, all powered by progressive harmonies, driving choruses and emotive instrumentals.
Another fresh discovery, reminding me a little bit of early Beach Fossils’ music. My kind of jam and the video fits the music just perfectly.
