I wrote this song while I was on vacation in Colorado with my buddy. He’s been constantly trying to convince me that I have to move to the west coast, so this song kind of echos my feelings and the expectations vs. the reality of making a move like that. As per most of my music nowadays, this song was recorded mostly on cassette.
I sometimes wonder why so many people are dreaming about California. I have to be honest that I really loved Cali when I was there. A really special time. Seeing this video and listening to this song brings me some nice memories. I really like the distorted sound in this song, also it is pretty energetic. Nice dopamine for my lazy body.
