“This is a song about a relationship going cold and spiteful, despite the love that still exists beneath it all. The lyrics “it’s better to be broken than grow cold” allude to the idea that it’s better to separate than let a bad relationship go so long that you can’t even tell if you love each other anymore. But that’s easier said than done.”
A month ago I wrote about another single from Somber Western and I am enjoying this kinda subscription, when many artists are sending me their new music on a monthly basis. It is quite special to return to the same artists over and over. I used to hate singles, but when doing my blog, I kinda like writing about them and putting them into our playlists. This dream pop track has a really nice chill vibe that is quite perfect for upcoming prolonged Fall evenings.
