This was a message in the submission from the artist:
“this is the second release off of an upcoming album. this song is upbeat but intentionally fairly stripped down in terms of production. to me – this song is best listened to on a drive with the windows rolled down / with the volume cranked up.”
We are thinking about visiting Midwest with my wife and I would imagine listening to this song while driving through the US Midwest countryside. I am really enjoying recently indie rock mixed with folk influences. The song was really easy to get hooked up on and I am really looking forward to the full album which should be out later this year. Even though Shower Beer is from East Coast, I am somehow feeling this could be a good soundtrack to a road trip in the countryside.
