Single: Estrada – Esta Noche Que Salí

“ESTRADA is a Guatemalan-American artist from Hawthorne, CA. He is known for his signature #foogaze sound that evokes emotions of nostalgia, comfort, and hopefulness. He is a self-taught musician who writes, produces, and records his own music.

This song channels Estrada’s inner roots of rock en espanol – his first fully Spanish song – and it’s mixed with his signature glistening guitar sound. The story is of a main character who goes out to the club and sees his love interest. However, he doesn’t know if he can go up to her because of how divine the feminine spirit is. He’s indecisive and too shy to talk to her.”

Instead of my poor job of rephrasing the press release with this song, I will just share it in full. I love sharing Latin artists and have been since we launched Z Tapes Latinoamérica. I have been exposed to so much great music and it is a pity, that submission like this one is flying to me less often these days. Somehow Latin American indie artists bring always some special ingredients with their music, which makes me more interested. I do not speak Spanish, but it suits this song much more. I am so happy that Estrada decided to do it this way. I am just loving this such full of freshness and that special vibe I always look for. I am still not able to properly describe it. The funny part about all of this is that the artist is quite popular and I have not heard of him before, but I am glad I did.
