I saw somewhere a reference to the UK and, of course, his home country, South Korea. The bio delved further into the idea that “musical inspiration comes from diverse settings, from the bustling cityscape to the quiet, remote countryside.” His music blends pop, R&B, and lo-fi bedroom alt-pop.
The newest single “Glow” should “encompass the inner collision of emotions and his nomadic retrospects”. The song is a gentle lo-fi pop ballad with simple production and a few instruments, but the atmosphere of the song is still nicely built, creating an intimate experience that makes the vocals touch you a little bit more. I have been thinking about what has been captivating me so much about this one, but I was struggling to name it. The minimalist atmosphere and the beautiful, mesmerizing melody touch you like a gentle ocean wave on a bright, sunny morning. Doottak’s vocals will envelop you like a warm summer breeze, and you’ll feel the moment is special.
I have been lost in this newest song and really enjoyed the production. It has been a while since I heard bedroom pop this good. Yes, I will call it bedroom pop, and I will love this track for it. I bet you will fall in love with it as much as I did.
