In May I wrote about the previous EP from these Midwest friends playing in a band released in 2019.
They are returning with a new album called Bouquet and here is the first single. It is a jangly, folky, country indie rock with some really catchy riffs and pretty nice lyrics which are quite poetical. I loved this verse:
Wait to grab a fistful
Wait until the signal
Those flowers in the open
I’m holding out I’m hoping
I really love this new single which has really nice atmosphere and that warm lo-fi aesthetics that I enjoy so much. I am looking forward to hearing the album when it is out on November 10 and will do my best to share it with you as well. In the meantime enjoy this one.
