You’re reading the writing of a HUGE Full Blown Meltdown fan. Will is one of the most authentic, genuine, supportive, talented, and sweet human beings in the DIY scene. His vocal talent is just icing on the cake at this point (how does he do that???), and when I heard that this single dropped, I had to listen immediately.
Full Blown Meltdown by Pup was the initial inspiration for Will to create his project by the same name. In his words, it “changed the direction of my life” and he hopes he did it justice with this acoustic version. Well, I’m completely positive that he did exactly that.
This version is raw, emotional, and just plain tear-jerking honestly. It gives me the same feeling I got when I heard Mayday Parade for the first time, Miserable At Best is still a favorite. If you like more stripped-down versions of songs, then this is right up your alley. I can see why this song was instrumental in the creation of FBM, its lyrical perfection and life-changing for so many.
