Based in Los Angeles, Mia uses vocal layering, soothing tones, and intricate arrangements to create a project that feels like floating in a hazy, surreal landscape. The titular opening track, “Light It Can Blind You,” is a standout example, with its lush harmonies and layered vocals that lull you into its dreamy world. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to close your eyes and just drift.
“Alive” keeps the hypnotic vibe alive with an equally captivating instrumental arrangement. There’s something almost meditative about the way the sounds flow together, creating a trance-like effect.
