Single: Wolftrap – fucked up blues

“fucked up blues is the second single off our debut EP The Good Side. It’s an ode to degenerate love — letting the devil within take over and guide the night to shady ends. Waking up wracked with regret and hungover by cloudy memories of what went down — and begging to not be left alone “singing the fucked up blues”. A mellow vibe on the verses is lifted with overdriven guitars on the refrain.

It was recorded at Sound Hound Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Sam Plecker (Vista Kicks, Weyes Blood). It features Raymond Joseph on piano and Spencer Hoffman on lap steel guitar.”

I have written about the previous single on my blog and I quite enjoyed it, so I am looking forward to checking out this one. The new one has two tracks out and I am really enjoying it. Folk rock songs with great instruments and a mellow vibe are exactly something that I can get into. The lap steel and the piano are such nice features in the song. If folk music is your genre, then you should follow Wolftrap. This new folk-rock ballad has got me hooked and I have revisited it over and over.
