“Memorial Timeline” drops everywhere on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and is the lead single from TIFFY’s upcoming EP, Divine Hand. The EP is a co-release between Portland, Maine-based record label Repeating Cloud and Long Island, New York tape label Totally Real Records.
TIFFY is the Boston-based fuzz-tinged dream rock project led by Asian American artist Tiffany Sammy. Drawing from bedroom pop and punk, her hook-heavy and confessional songwriting blends hazy indie rock with catchy melodies.
In this song, TIFFY explores the question of, “Is it meta to sing a song about navigating the meta-verse?”.

“Memorial Timeline” explores the strange, dizzying experience of scrolling through a feed, from discovering someone you were once close with has died, to watching friends announce new jobs, and realizing Grandpa has fallen victim to the Ray-Ban scam. All of it unfolds beautifully beneath the familiar blue glow of a platform that feels both outdated and impossible to escape at the same time.
