After two years of dormancy, Bay Area’s Softie breaks their silence with their debut studio single “Kiss Kiss Kiss.” Distributed by Cherub Dream Records, “Kiss Kiss Kiss” is a teaser of Softie’s first studio album entitled SOMERSAULT.

Nicholas Coleman, the frontman of Softie, has been in the Bay Area shoegaze scene long enough to see its ebbs and flows but has stayed true to the sound throughout the years and it shows. Softie is a household name in the DIY Bay scene and a band that can’t be missed.
This short and sweet single has a noticeably different sound than the band’s previous releases with a more upbeat, dancy tempo and airy vocals. With success in their earlier projects being featured on several local radio stations such as Beg Borrow and Steal and BFF.FM, it’s fair to say this single was long overdue and highly anticipated and the album even more so.
SOMERSAULT is set to be released May 9, 2025.
