Single: Socialites – Winter

The Texas five-piece exceed in conjuring up the perfect vibe for an introduction to the summer months. Despite the song title being the antithesis of this, the track being named ‘Winter’, Socialites reject the oppression put forth by the season, instead leaning completely into the vibe of the sun.

The song appears on the band’s debut album, Where To; an album jam packed with dreamy indie-pop, sonically resembling bands such as Blossoms, Black Marble, and at their dreamiest, Real Estate. ‘Winter’ is the best in this collection, saturating itself in dream-pop tropes that never fail. The band’s glorious take on the genre feels like a cool shower, one that you wish could fall on you forever.

If you’re a fan of ethereal soundscapes, bittersweet yet summery vibes, Socialites is the band for you.
