Single: Post Radio – Get Uniform (feat. Jennifer Hall)

“This song is about the yearning for more time in our lives. From the start, this song was meant to move. It sat “finished” for a long time, but I always felt like something was missing. This summer, I reached out to my friend, Jennifer Hall, and asked her to sing on the second verse. Her vocals were the missing piece and absolutely elevated this song to another level.”

Post Radio is the brainchild of John Morton, a talented musician and producer hailing from Chicago. His music draws influence from acclaimed artists such as Broken Social Scene, Radiohead, The National, and The Postal Service. Although the single was initially released in July, it has recently come to my attention. The track is a high-energy, stripped-down indie rock piece that features the captivating vocals of Jeniffer. There’s something incredibly refreshing about the song, and I find myself drawn to it. Its sound brings to mind the nostalgia of older indie rock bands, which may be one of the reasons why it resonates with me so deeply. Overall, it’s a truly captivating piece, and I’m thrilled that it found its way to our inbox.
