Single: Low Key Crush – Been Waiting

I have shared a single from this band before, so it is a new discovery for me. A really powerful indie rock from Melbourne. The guitar parts are really catchy, I am so getting into them. I recommend you blasting them and fully immerse into them. I would really love to see this band play this song live. Maybe one day. In the future without the Corona mess.

If you want you can read about the band here:

Low Key Crush are Taycian and Tim, two friends from Melbourne who have been working on writing the greatest pop song this side of the equator. They work within the confines of indie pop, place melodies as the highest moral good found in music and mostly produce their songs out of a garage in Blackburn North, Victoria. Their music is best played while driving or seen live with the last person you kissed. The lyrics often have a sense of being unresolved, sometimes appreciating the uncertainty other times fucking hating it. The music is at times nostalgic but uninterested in pure re-creation. Low Key Crush believes a pop band with live instruments is incomplete without synthesisers and harmonies and that love is always the best thing to have a song about. Their debut single ‘Swimming Laps’ was played on Triple J, put on rotation at Sydney’s FBi and made Unearthed’s Best New Music Spotify playlist, and their follow up ‘Shelter’ was inserted into Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist.
