I have read somewhere that millennials are nostalgic about the 90s and Gen Z are nostalgic about the 00s. I am not sure if it also works for music fans, but I see in myself that when I hear in songs some 90s vibes, it kinda makes it more interesting. I am not sure if I am judging it correctly, but this new single from Philly-based band Highnoon reminds me of a lot of (indie) rock from the 90s. In the best possible way. I have listened to this song so many times since I received it in my mailbox, I stopped counting. It is so yummy, so fresh. I cannot wait for more music from this young and promising band. Philly scene was always producing interesting bands and this is just another proof. So point your ear radars Philly and Highnoon and you will not be disappointed. I am just happy right now.
