Acoustic guitars and delicate synth-driven sound, Something by indie/dream pop duo Girl Time collectively combines a forlornness towards different circumstances. The song flourishes something upbeat at the same time it draws a gentle atmosphere, mainly centering around the familiarity of loneliness and incompatibility. Girl Time is the sort of music project I’m definitely interested in hearing more from.

The idea for “Something” came from the idea that someone can experience loneliness both toward the beginning of a relationship as they are still getting familiar with someone and toward the end as they realize they don’t share the same connection anymore.
