Single: Ford Chastain – No Way

“Ford Chastain began playing guitar at the age of eight in Norman, Oklahoma. Since then, he’s been weaving chords into songs, playing in local bands, and recording music. At 16, he joined the psychedelic rock band Stardeath And White Dwarfs, touring across the United States and Canada alongside bands such as Tame Impala and The Flaming Lips. Since 2016, he has shifted his focus towards his solo project, where he unveils home-recorded indie rock/dreampop songs with smooth, laid-back guitar riffs and mellow vocals.”

The musician featured in this piece of text is truly talented beyond words. Their proficiency in playing the guitar at such a young age is nothing short of impressive. The new single they recently released is a beautiful blend of dreamy, indie pop and rock, which creates a calming effect on the listener. As I immerse myself in the music, I feel as though I am being transported to a tranquil beach, where the sound of the ocean waves and the gentle breeze of the sea are in perfect harmony with the rhythm of the guitar. Dreamy music has always had the power to evoke images of sun-kissed beaches, the ocean, and the cool breeze, which is why it never fails to calm my restless and anxious mind. I am eagerly anticipating more music from this talented artist, as their debut single has set the bar high for what’s to come.
