‘I Guess’, a fresh debut single from the mind of Ennis v. Croft, is a beautifully crafted, raw piece that explores the aftermath of broken relationships, heartache, and all. Starting strongly with rhythmic thumping, similar to the rhythm of a heartbeat. With soft-hypnotic vocals setting into the foreground, you sink into the groove of this melodic bedroom pop song. Truly drawing the listener into a different headspace as the story is about to unravel. Raspy vocals accompanied by a gritty bass, it quite simply left me sitting in my seat listening in awe. Experiencing the aches of the bandaid of a past love. The song itself becomes this almost transformative, beautifully arranged progression leading into its final moments of clarity.
