I am usually sharing music from “bigger” artists, but when I really like it I cannot help myself. This is the case. Somehow the song caught my ears so much I had to relisten to it so many times and still do not have enough. The melody and vocals are just captivating. So good…

21-year-old independent singer-songwriter, Emily James, has been putting her heartfelt lyrics and melodies out into the world for the past four years. James, a New York native, began writing her own music when she was 10 years old, inspired by such musical influences as Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, and Adele. At 16, James moved to Nashville and, a year later, released her self-written EP, Emily James, produced by Grammy award-winners Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris) and Jacquire King (James Bay, Kings of Leon). She relocated to Los Angeles in 2017 and, soon after, put out her debut album, Til the Morning, written by James and produced by Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy).

James wrote and produced her latest EP Dreaming, which came out in October, 2019. tired is the artist’s fifth single of 2020, which she collaborated on with Brian Brundage (Rhys Lewis, Jason Mraz).
