Ahead of their third album “Idealism”, Essex alternative outfit Don’t Worry releases their fourth single, This Time. Following the halcyon weightlessness of Unbelievable, This Time is a catchy and cathartic track chalked full of movement. Dragging the listener in from the first second, passionate vocals exclaim as the group builds until they absolutely nail the chorus, making it impossible to resist joining in on the “I’m gonna do it for myself this time!”
Drawing from artists like Frank Turner and The Menzingers, Don’t Worry has an entrancing rowdiness that exhausts bits of cathartic melancholy with waves of honest positivity. This Time is right up my alley with its blend of tremendous energy and excellent writing, and it leaves me eagerly waiting to check out the rest of “Idealism” on July 18th.
