So a long time ago, in – like – another century altogether, before there was YouTube, there used to be big, heavy, boxy televisions with TV stations, and one of those TV stations was called MTV, or whatever. And on this particular television station, they were supposed to play music videos all the time or whatever, but instead they had a lot of cartoons and reality TV shows, and sketch comedies, or whatever. One of those comedy shows was just a bunch of sock puppets called Sifl and Olly, or whatever, and me and some of my friends really enjoyed this for reasons I would be hard pressed to try to explain, but, whatever.
Anyway, those sock puppets made some pretty rad music, and Devon Kay and the Solutions decided to do a cover of one of those songs, and, it’s been like a quarter of a century or something, but whatever. Anyway, it was like, America’s Independence Day, and if you looked at the celebrations around the country you probably saw that a whole lot of Americans were like “whatever”. But not Devon Kay and the Solutions; they busted out the guitar and horns and blasted a fucking rad version of this song, or whatever. Because this is their “United States of Whatever”.
Anyway, you should probably check out this song below, because it kicks ass, or whatever. And Devon Kay and the Solutions definitely kick ass and rock your faces off, or whatever.
