Single: Beach Vacation – In Control

I still remember the first time I discovered BV on our blog. I wrote, “I am so in love with this new single. It has all it needs. Catchy guitar, warm lo-fi sound, and great vocals. I cannot wait for the debut album.” It has been back in 2020, but my love for this artist has not stopped. Luckily, we released together cassettes, so Tabor’s music is even more personal to me, and I am always looking forward to hearing more from him. Dreamy guitars and vocals that haunt you like a bittersweet dream you cannot stop dreaming.

This newest addition is leaning more toward a pop sound, which still suits the song while maintaining the classic BV’s dreamy sound. For some reason, the music has been so infectious for me, and I kept returning to it over and over and over. So proud of how much BV grew as a band. They have been touring the USA multiple times, and we can still expect great things from them in the future. Maybe one day I will be able to see them play live and get lost in their dreamy melodies on a show.

I am not going to introduce the band anymore; we have already written multiple times, and there is no need to repeat ourselves. If you are not a fan of BV, today is a great day to start becoming one. I always recommend sifting through the old music as well, and I am certain you will find your favorite piece. Maybe you are not a big fan of dream pop as I am, or maybe you did not grow up on Beach Fossils, but I still find BV’s music worth trying. It is like sipping freshly opened wine that richly develops in flavor, and you want the whole bottle at the end.
