‘Please wait another day / please don’t run away’
Alex Sanders is a shadowy purveyor of melancholic bedroom pop, leaning heavily on some 90s influences as he strums away in a laboured yet melodic manner. His new single ‘another day’ is delicate yet somehow cinematic – perhaps down to the lead guitar part that appears just after half way through the song. It is a sigh of a song that seems to have found peace in sadness and longing.
