‘After the path I left behind / when I look back, I can’t see it’
荒川サピエンス are a mysterious Japanese band that make dreampop for the terraform generation. It is almost unbelievably ethereal. Icy synths combine with a slick and satisfying drum machine, Twin Peaks OST-esque guitar part swirls in the background and a gorgeously silky vocal part tells a tale of leaving behind a dying planet and relocating to somewhere among the stars.
