EP: west ferry – sad regrets pour on

“West Ferry’s sound could best be described as indie-punk bummer rock. Formed In 2015, the band has been a staple of Buffalo’s local music scene, quickly amassing a voracious and attentive fan base. West Ferry’s sound has been compared to Jeff Rosenstock, Pup, Thrice, and Los Desaparecedos.”

As we look back to the year 2023, I am excited to delve deeper into the world of emo music and continue my exploration in 2024. Perhaps it’s the raw emotions and passionate energy that draw me to this genre, but I can’t seem to get enough of the energetic guitars and angsty vocals that define it. Recently, I stumbled upon a three-song EP that perfectly embodies everything I love about emo music. The songs are infused with a folky influence that creates a unique and captivating atmosphere. I must admit that I am hard-pressed to choose a favorite among the three tracks, as each one speaks to me in its way. Nevertheless, I am thrilled to have discovered this refreshing and inspiring collection of songs that has reignited once again my passion for emo music.
