EP: Moon Hound – Stop & Rearrange

Moon Hound is a Brooklyn-based art-folk band led by multi-instrumentalist Ian McNally. The band is made up of old friends all living in New York City. This will be the band’s second release with Paper Moon Records.”

So excited to introduce a talented band based in New York and their latest EP, which was released a month ago and recently submitted to us. Whenever I come across a new band that I haven’t written about, it reminds me of the incredible amount of music out there that deserves to be heard. With less time for personal discovery, it’s crucial for bands to reach out to us. Stand out from the crowd, submit your music, and we can promise to give it a listen.

The EP features four vibrant indie lo-fi folk rock tracks with infectious guitar riffs and an overall captivating atmosphere that harkens back to older music. I’ve been enjoying the playfulness and energy of these songs, which each offer something a little different but work together flawlessly. The varying moods create a compelling flow that I’ve been enjoying on repeat, especially the warm, fuzzy sound of the guitars.

Moon Hound is another exciting band from New York that certainly deserves attention. I’m eagerly anticipating what they’ll create next and believe these songs would be even more enjoyable in a live setting. If you’re in the NYC area and want to catch their performance, be sure to follow their social media for updates. Who knows when they will play next 🙂
