I wrote to the artist to introduce them a little bit more, so here is the answer:
“Aizat Haris is a recording artist from Kuala Belait, Brunei Darussalam. He has played under several monikers but he is mostly known for his work with UK based band Mirror Trash. He has played a number of gigs both in the UK and in South East Asia, and gets a regular airplay on BBC Introducing Cumbria. From 2016 onwards, Aizat has released over 13 albums and EPs scattered all over the internet.”
How many times in your life you will hear music from Brunei Darussalam? I bet not many times, so I am happy to share this album from this lo-fi artist from that part of the world. The album is a pure lo-fi rock with really catchy guitar parts and definitely worth your time. If you did not know this was coming from Southeast Asia, you would not notice. But that makes it even more interesting, especially for me, I love discovering music from different parts of the world and I am so happy this reached me. I wished this blog was more covering non-western artists, but these kinds of finds are still rare.
So if you are reading this and you know some great artists for example from Asia, I would love to hear them.
In the meantime, you can enjoy this album full of great lo-fi indie tracks. I am loving it very much. No more words, just start the track.
