This reminds me a little bit of Current Joys, but to be honest I find it more likable. I always enjoyed high-paced lo-fi pop with kicking beats. So fresh, summery feel for me. It gets me pumped a little bit more. It makes me want to dance. I am not 100% sure why this type of sound really speaks to me, but I am honestly not caring and just enjoying it. The album from start to end is full of great, catchy songs and I am recommending checking it out in full. What a bummer this is not being released on cassette…
