Here is a short story:
More than three years ago, Vivian McCall, of the band Jungle Green, began transitioning, a process which inspired the songs that make up her self-titled debut album as Pansy–a record that proves that every moment on the journey carries an incredible depth and complexity of emotion. On “Anybody Help Me”, the fuzz laden guitars lead a catchy drum beat while McCall’s smooth falsetto bounces on the rhythm. The album was recorded on to tape on vintage equipment.
Not only this story is important to read but it is as important ad to listen to this fuzzy jangly tracks. It brings so much nostalgia for old sound but also a lot of freshness. Such enjoyable tracks. Full of power and cheerfulness. Definitely something to brighten up your day and please your ears. Love the vibe.
