Anytime someone describes themselves as a “musical polymath”, odds are you WANT to listen to what they have going on. Being a musical Jack of all trades affords you a wide range of things you can do with your music or FOR music in general. You might have the imagination to create something new and vital. Anything can go.
Unfortunately “All Bets Are Off” does not deliver a lot of that mad scientist imagination, but it does make such a romantic indie pop cupcake that much more satisfying and will certainly leave you open to having more in the future.
