“Emotional hardcore three piece prom gear up to release their brand new single ‘Private Room’ on 22nd August, which is the lead single from their debut album – From The Wayside, set for release on the 8th November 2024. Following a strong reception of both their debut EP in February, and a split EP release with Brighton grunge-punks Wimp, the band have wasted no time at all, putting their all into a 10 song debut ;a fast-paced injection of emotionally charged rage and sadness, blending the best parts of emo, hardcore and grunge.”
I recently received a press release introducing a new single from a Brighton-based emo band. The press release also hinted at an upcoming album set to release in November. The new single seamlessly blends hardcore and grunge, as mentioned in the press release, and I could really feel the energy emanating from the song. I believe witnessing this band perform live would be an incredible experience. I particularly enjoy attending “harder” shows, especially in DIY venues like “Koncerty na garazach” in Bratislava. This venue, converted from an old garage, serves as a band rehearsal space and hosts cool events. I’ve been to this venue several times and can easily imagine this band putting on an amazing show there. I’m eagerly anticipating the release of their next album, and I’m committed to promoting it here.
Also additionally, here is one more treat from the band:
“Alongside the announcement of their debut record, prom have also released a live cover of Gandaddy’s classic track ‘A.M. 180’ live from their time spent at Shaken Oak Studios.“
