Album: animal friendship – animal friendship

When my friend Raul told me that he was working on new music, I couldn’t contain my excitement. We had previously collaborated on Z Tapes, and I have always been a huge fan of his music, which I felt was incredibly underrated. His latest project, animal friendship, has released two new EPs, and they feature a blend of lo-fi sad slowcore and slacker rock (sadcore), reminiscent of some of my favorite artists like Max Gowan, Matthew Leger, and even a hint of Greg Mendez. However, Raul’s music possesses a unique quality that never fails to resonate with me. I’m thrilled that he’s back creating music, and his latest self-titled EP is nothing short of a masterpiece. If you’re interested, you can also check out his previous EP.

P.S.: Raul is also from the music city Austin same as the band Very Busy People I shared here.
